Shelley & Sumant

Shelley's passion is design. She has worked on projects all over the world, and she designed every finish, fixture and piece of furniture in this suite herself. Between the two of us, we've stayed in enough places to know what makes a stay feel effortless, and we've been welcoming guests here for over eight years.

Our story

Built from what we loved most on the road

We've both travelled a lot over the years and stayed everywhere from big-city hotels to small guesthouses. The places we remember best weren't the fanciest. They were the ones that felt calm, private and personal.

One of us is a designer. When we created Anända, she designed and renovated the suite herself, picking every finish, fixture and piece of furniture. We wanted a space that brings together what we loved most in our travels: a boutique-hotel feel, but quieter and more personal.
